The legend of Joseph Wheelburrow began inauspiciously in 2015.
While working at a Hot Dog On A Stick franchise in Columbus, Ohio, Wheelburrow walked on to the local university and warmed the bench. It was here that his love for corn dogs grew into an obsession. Wheelburrow frequently would bring corn dogs to the team’s practice facility. Teammates and fans commented that he “smelled like corn dogs” and regularly could be found with smudged mustard on his cheeks. Wheelburrow was different, and as he tailspun further into his corn dog addiction he was outcast from the Ohio family.
In 2018, Wheelburrow filled out an online survey to determine which city in America would be the best fit for him. While tediously inputting his information, he came across a simple question: “what do you smell like?” Wheelburrow froze. Should he tell the truth or should he put his corn dog past behind him?
The answer to this question would change the trajectory of his life forever. In a moment of clarity, Wheelburrow decided to stop being ashamed of his corn dogged odor.
When Wheelburrow clicked submit on the survey, he was surprised to see that it recommended the city of Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The rest is history.
Today, Wheelburrow runs around the city of Baton Rouge handing out corn dogs like a State Fair Santa. If you close your eyes at night, you can hear the sound of mustard farts as he squeezes a zig zag of this critical condiment onto his breaded dogs.
This shirt is as soft and fluffy as the breading on the inside of a corn dog. It is a fitted shirt similar in style and quality to American Apparel.
